93 240 AC switch --> 84 240 Empty

In the process of converting the 84 to 134a.
Since the AC systems are steeped in mystery to those without a license or greenbooks...

I'd like to change the knob ac activation system on the 84 to the rocker switch activation from the 93.

What does the 93 use in lieu of the tee-d in AC thermo switch, is there an expansion valve, and though I know the later evaporator is the way to go can this work with the 84 set up?

Numerous failed wiring connections have stumped me thus far, but I got the old York to engage finally. Just about everything between it and the knob on the dash is broken though.

Looks very... not worth it.

Tore apart a 93 at the JY. The system would more or less have to be swapped in its entirety just to have a matching console switch. For what it's worth; compressor, receiver/dryer, evaporator and lines... Junctions are different on the evap and the compressor & something hanging off the receiver takes the place of the thermostatic switch and expansion valve.
