| So while everything is apart/broken here's what's shaking out.
Good-used upper strut mounts. GT strut re-enforcement plates. Used DeCarbon inserts. -> If the DeCarbons are good, 1979 GT 14.5mm front springs. And Kyb gas-a-just shocks. Used ZF steering rack replaces Cam rack and inferior inner tie rod manufacture. Make OEM style GT lower tie bars. Strut-firewall brace already installed. 25/22mm bars already installed. Poly torque rods already installed.
So, this brings it close to a spec GT/Turbo hybrid and I think is good to do to the car considering the the originality of it. Making it saleable has to be a priority but I like to put the best of OEM on where I can.
Can't just do it normal, Boge Turbo Gas aren't available atm. Bilstein HD are just stupid expensive and don't seem to have it together in the 240 application.
Eh. I could just use some thoughts/feedback on if this is a good track to be on and how it might handle.

| Sounds a lot like my set up before regretfully I put on the 28mm front bar.
You will like the way it handles I guarantee it!

| That would be sweet. The DeCarbons were rock hard; and couldn't get the gland nut off the Billy TCs I found.
Found some what I believe to be Kilen lowering springs. They roughly are the same wire size, a 14 slips over them, but are short enough to not need appreciable compressing. Won't be proud of the robbing the originality of the car, but... Well the tradeoffs can be debated at length by people other than myself.

Thanks for the heads-up on that while TB was down. I was able to get them.

| Good deal. Aaron's a great guy, he's the one that had my 244 in his backyard for a LONG time. | |
