Till you get the doors on. I can't get mine to look right. They bow out, and the gaps at the tops of the rears is ridiculous. Did they spray the skins straight across with the doors hanging after doing the jams? That will help visually. You had me look again at my wagon. It's actually not that bad. Needs more sanding and 3 more coats if I decide to skip the body work. But I need to take the alum hood down to metal. Quarters look good though, luster follows the curves like the 71. Keep giving the SF State kids on the 18 a double take.

| No the doors were done laying out flat on the stands.
One of the advantages of non metallic paint.
They will need to go back on for the raccoon eyes.

| Meh, you're not wrong, the high spot in the doors is probably nothing more than 2 or 3mm anyway. I've been reading too many hot rod paint and body books.
It's not like the 71 has problems looking straight.

It's not like the 71 has problems looking straight. Of all the 240's the door margins look best on the Gold car, as that hasn't been hit. Once they fix them hanging the doors is always a compromise, and the leftovers are usually left in the bottom of the door to rocker area.

Your jealousy may abate a bit if you knew how much work it is. There's lots of things happening between pictures..

| Some nice guns. Notice how clean these 4 year old guns are. Gotta keep things clean if you want good results. | |

| Waiting for paint to flash off isn't always boring. Lurking in the corner is a Fastback Mustang track car with a Griggs racing front end and a four link rear end. | |

A case or 2 of beer and a few burritos should handle it right?
